It has been an anthem in the mouth of every Ebira person right from the day Kogi was created that the Underdevelopment witnessed in Kogi Central is as a result of the Marginalization we faced from the Igalas who neither gave us the Governorship opportunity nor appoint us into meaningful positions.
Today the story can not be the same again as we have our own Son in that Kogi apex seat and many of our sons and Daughters given appointments into key Political offices.
What have been the impact of those appointed?
Those appointed are supposed to be Gov Bello's watchdog in Kogi Central helping him to gain more fans from Kogi Central as Edward Onoja and his other Igala Appointees are doing down there in Kogi East, but the reverse is the case as many of this Ebira Appointees now feel superior and God, spending monies on frivolous things tarnishing the image of the man who appointed them, these appointees shy away from helping Ebira youths except taking them to bars and the Ladies to hotels.
This is not how Onoja and his Eastern counterparts are garnering Supporters for Bello.
They made their doors of help open and bring in their brothers to benefit from the little available while our Ebira brothers obstruct you and close the doors so you wouldn't gain access to be helped.
This is so bad but nonetheless in the midst of millions of evil ones their must be at least one Angel and these people are Engr. Abubakar Ohere and Pharm. AbdulKareem Jamiu, I have never benefitted from them before and have no hope of benefitting from them but the way they are a so grassroot inclined made me to find them different from the rest, these two help when you need them but their Aides are also hiding them from people gaining access to them.
Remember the position you occupy today has an expiry date, the good you do today would speak for you in your future endeavors.
Dont be an appointee just to eat alone, living an extravagant life yet impacting no life.
The rest should emulate the duo that I mentioned above, help as much as you can and get your names written in the gold of time, no one knows what tomorrow holds.
Use your office to impact life and empower your fellow youths and Women who would in turn help others making your name go far.
Dont just be a Psychophant with no good idea or advice to offer to the Governor.
Many of these appointees are their for self benefit and show no concern whether the Governor achieve success or not.
