Adavi Council Boss Holds a Meeting With Adavi LG Chapter Of NULGE & MHWU to Discuss With Ikare First Bank Officials On Outstanding Loans.

“Workers Welfare has been a topmost priority of my administration since assumption into office,” declared by the Adavi Council Administrator, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami as he interfaced with the First Bank Manager, Ikare Branch, Mr. Olumide Obileye and Mr. Niyi Awotomilusi over the outstanding financial obligations that stood against the workers in Adavi LGA  today in his office.

The Workers Union bodies present which comprised of the Nigeria Union of LG Workers (NULGE), Medical & Health Workers Union (MHWUN), led by Alh. AbdulKadir Badams chart a way forward on how the welfare of their members could be enhanced and modalities to repay their obligations to the lending institution”

During the meeting, the Council Administrator stated unambiguously his administration's concern to the welfare and well being of Adavi Workers as severally exemplified in the course of his administration till date. This he said would not be found wanting for as long as his administration lasts in Adavi LGA. Having noted that he enjoys the harmonious working relationship with Adavi LG Workers and Teachers, the Council Boss, nonetheless, called for more synergy between the Government and the Workers Union in order to make Adavi LGA a leading example among the comity of LGAs.

The Workers friendly Administrator furthermore, thanked the bank officials that the local government is indebted to (far back before now) for their understanding and sought their patient.

Finally, the Director of Local Government (DLG), Engr. Muhammed Obaro who was seated during the meeting expressed his appreciation to the Council Administrator for attaching priority to the welfare of Workers and, urged the bank officials to be a bit patient with the council.
