Gen Akpa: A Man Who Can Bring Back Our Lost Hope

The Leading aspirant of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Maj Gen Patrick Ademu Akpa rtd, has said that he is better positioned to win the August 29th governorship primary election in the state.

Affirming his supremacy over other aspirants, especially the sitting governor Yahaya Bello, Gen Akpa said Yahaya Bello and other aspirants are not viable enough to compete with him, that he is in the best position to project the state into the future with his Hope Agenda.

According to him, “I’m very sure that I am going to emerge victorious in the coming primary election. “With the readiness and support of Kogi State APC towards the restoration of human dignity and good governance which the state has suffered in the recent past, I will definitely win the primary election and emerge as the candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) and win to take over the governance as the executive governor of the state come November 9, 2019.”

He stated that Gov Bello and other aspirants are not near a threat to his ambition, saying “the APC and the people of Kogi are fully aware of the damages Gov Bello caused to the people in the state.
According to him, “the almost four years of the Gov Bello have plunged the state and its people into abject poverty, and penury is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf, hence, it is crystal clear that the good people of Kogi State need Hope and that's why I am aspiring to bring back the Hope to our state.

In conclusion, Maj Gen Akpa rtd said with the numerous mineral resources in Kogi state, Kogi State should be well illuminated with far-reaching socio-economic projects, as the state is racing against time, craving to be in league of states, like Lagos, Rivers, Kano etc. The media team leader said development and welfarism of the civil servant and citizenry can be achievable with pragmatic and workaholic leader like Maj Gen Patrick Ademu Akpa rtd , who has served the nation in many capacity and who will not shy away from availing Kogi people his wealth of experience.
