Fair Win Women Advancement Association of Kogi Central Throws their Support Behind Governor Bello and Chief Edward Onoja

Fair Win Women Adavancement Association of Kogi Central (FAWWASS) has again re-affirmed its unflinching support for the re-election of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, citing his outstanding performance in the last four years as the reason for their endorsement.

The President of the group, Hajia Bilikisu Onumoko pointed out that the antics of the opposition will continue to fail in the state because the people are more with Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello than the other candidates vying to occupy Lugard House in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state.

According to her, since the creation of Kogi State, no administration has offered women more opportunities in the government than Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello administration. She noted that, the key projects such as road constructions, provision of portable water, rehabilitation of dilapidated hospitals and schools amongst others  in the three Senatorial district of the state have transformed the state to another phase of development.

Furthermore, the President who conveyed the message of the founder of the group, Hajia Habibat Onumoko to the group members, expressed satisfaction with the news that Governor Yahaya Adoza  Bello has picked his Chief of Staff, Chief Edward David Onoja as his running mate in the November 16th governorship election. She described Edward Onoja as a force to reckon with in the state while also commending Governor Yahaya for always acting in line with the party's guidelines and constitution.
She further cautioned some politicians whom she described as faceless elements bent on fanning the ember of discord in the state to desist from such acts.

It is on record that Fair Win Women Advancement Association of Kogi Central (FAWWASS) is a formidable force in Kogi Central Senatorial District. The group has been canvassing support for Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello from the onset of his administration. The group is founded by Hajia Habibat Onumoko and it draws her members from the five local government areas of Kogi Central Senatorial District. As at yesterday, 8th September, 2019, the number of women in the group has increased far over four thousand and according to the president, room is still opened for intending members as the only required item to be a member of the group is your permanent voter card.

Finally, the president of the group thanked Engr. Abubakar Ohere for his support to the group and prayed, God to continue to uplift him and direct his affairs.
