Chibok Girls: APC Backs Cameron

The leadership of the All Progressives Congress(APC), last night, spoke in defence of former British Prime Minister, David Cameron, who in his new book, ‘For the Record’, accused former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan of neglect in his handling of the abducted students of Federal Government College, Chibok, Borno state.

The students were abducted by men of the terror group, Boko Haram in their hostels in 2014.
Cameron had alleged that the Jonathan administration rejected the help of the British Government in rescuing the 276 Chibok schoolgirls, an allegation the latter has since denied.
But the APC in a statement last night said the former President “shouldn’t have bothered about Cameron’s allegations, talk less denying it.”
APC national publicity secretary, Mallam Lanre Isa-Onilu claimed Cameron was right as he declared that “Nigerians already know the story of Jonathan’s habitual negligence to matters of state.”
