Okene Agog As Campaign Council Begin 3 Days Prayer Session For Gov. Bello

It was a delightful moment in Okene as the people of Kogi Central trooped out in their large numbers to ones again demonstrate their unequalled support for the re-election of their illustrious son, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello.


The All Progressive Congress (APC) Campaign Council in Kogi Central had orgaised a 3 day prayer session for the peaceful and successful election campaign beginning with prayer by  traditional rulers. After performing the traditional prayers, the reception cum rally held at Ebira day parvelion have musicians from the five Local Governments of Kogi Central entertained guests before the arrival of masqurades that garnishes the occassion to the satisfaction of the people.

Addressing the Press shortly after the program, the Director-General of APC Campaign Council in Kogi Central, Hon. Abubakar Suberu Adagu appreciated the show of love and commitment from party supporters, various support groups and the electorates for coming out to participate in the prayer session which he likened to the overwhelming grassroot support and acceptance enjoy by the youthful and useful Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello.

He said, “November 16  election governorship election in the state is going to be a referendum on this peoples appreciation of the unprecedented achievements of the Governor considering the security situation of the state and of course, the level of infrastructural decay hitherto to his divine installation in 2015.

Earlier in the day, the Director-General of the Campaign Council, Hon. Abubakar Suberu Adagu was featured on the early morning program of Radio Kogi (93.5FM) broadcasting live from Okene-eba to establish the achievements of the Gov. Yahaya Bello in the last four years and of course unveil the articulated developmental programs and policies for the next level agenda. He was accompanied by the Party's Zonal-Vice Chairman, Hon. Ibrahim Ahovi, the Secretary of the Campaign Council, Hon. Abdulrasheed Adabara and the Head of Media Committee, Hon. Abdulmumin Abubakar.

The duo of Hon. Abubakar Suberu Adagu and Ibrahim Ahovi who were both experience grassroot politicians took the people on a long memory lane of sufferings, neglect, insecurity, and unemployment in comparation with the four years of Gov. Yahaya Bello. They urged the people to come out and vote massively for APC and her Governorship candidate, Alh. Yahaya Bello with margins that will convince the who ever come distant third to congratulate him without the option of court.
