Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has called on the people of Igala, Kogi East not to allow themselves to be deceived by those promoting ethnic agenda.
He told party supporters at Ankpa campaign rally that the state has moved on beyond the promotion of ethnic agenda to focus on development without ethnic consideration.
The governor said, “The focus of this administration is continuation of infrastructure provision, youth and women empowerment, improved health, educational facilities and will not allow anyone deceive us with promotion of ethnic agenda.
“Ankpa township road, that is Igala agenda; youths and women empowerment, that is Igala agenda; portable water, that is Igala agenda, provision of water resources in Ayingba and other towns, that is Igala agenda. Don’t be deceived,” Bello said.
