Ministry of Works and Housing Spotlight: Engr. Ohere Hits The Ground Running; Inspects Bridge Reconstruction at SUBEB Junction.
The Honorable Commissioner in charge of Works and Housing, Engr. Abubakar Ohere who assumed office yesterday, inspected the bridge rehabilitation at SUBEB junction after a brief management meeting in his office earlier today.
Engr. Ohere who was in company of the Acting Permanent Secretary, Engr. Chris Ekele and the Acting Director, KOGROMA, Engr. Taiye Bolaji was immediately joined by the Chairman of KGIRS, Alh. Aliyu Inda Salami for the inspection tour of the reconstruction site.
Upon the joint inspection and attaining area of collaboration, Engr. Ohere gave a renew charge to the Engineers for immediate opening of the road and proper dredging of the bridge's inlet and out let as a palliative measure with an ultimatum of 7 days.
He equally directed that certain portions at Ganaja junction be given express attention to ease the usual congestion.
He reiterated the determination of his Boss, Governor Bello to give infrastructural facelift to Lokoja being the seat of government and the entire state by extension.
