I'm Running To Be The People’s Chairman And Chief Servant: Osomose

The leading Okene Local Government Chairmanship aspirant of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the forth coming Local Government election, Abubakar Osomose Sanni has promised to turn around the social wellbeing of the people of Okene local government if elected as the Chairman of the local government.  

Mr Abubakar Osomose said "as the people’s Chairman,  I will represent the entire people of Okene LG and my plans for our economy will reflect. Our government will invest in infrastructure, education and human capital development that is I'm going to be a chief servant of the Local Government not a dictator". 


He further explained that one of the main priorities if elected as a Chairman will be to provide an enabling environment for the wellbeing of the civil servant in the Local Government by ensuring that workers salaries are paid as at when due and their rights are protected.

He further said that "driving job creation by providing low-interest credit facilities and support for small business to make Okene LG an attractive place to do business, work and live and also employment is one of the best ways to fight rising crime rates, keep families together and build a stable society where life and properties are well secured".  

Abubakar Osomose assured that an effective feedback system would be put in place “so that I am informed about the governance, challenges faced by students, youths, adults and the vulnerable people among us".
In conclusion, Abubakar Osomose said “together we will do more for Okene LG where everyone is an important stakeholder. I promise to focus on sundry problems if elected. Every person in Okene LG has a value and for us to transform our Local government for better, we must do it together.
