What is suratul Al-Fatiha?
Surat Al-Fatiha is the first chapter in the only Quran that contains seven verses.
The surah teaches us that if we can pray aright, it means that we have some knowledge of Allah and His attributes.
Prayer is the heart and sword of Religion and Faith. Surat Al-Fatiha is the opened blessing for humans. That's why the chapter is called the Opening chapter. Its is been recited for every Muslims that observe solat in every prayer and on many other occasions.
It is well placed at the beginning of the Al-Quran, as summing up, in marvelously terse and comprehensive words, man's relation to Allah in contemplation and prayer.
In our spiritual contemplation the first words should be of praise. If the praise is from our inmost being, it brings us more closer to Allah. Then our eyes see all good, peace and harmony. Evils, rebellion and conflict are purged out.
Translation of Surat Al-Fatiha
1. In the name of Allah, most Gracious, Most Merciful;
2. Praise be to Allah, The Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds;
3. Most Gracious, Most Merciful;
4. Master of the Day of Judgment;
5. Thee do we worship, And Thine aid we seek.
6. Show us the straight way,
7. The way of those on whose Thou has bestowed Thy Grace, Those whose (portion) Is not wrath. And who go not astray.

Recite the surat Al-Fatiha 100 times every day. This is the way you will be doing it daily for easy recitation. You will be reciting after every solat.
Solatul fajir ---------------------- 30 times
Solatul zuhr ---------------------- 25 times
Solatul asir ---------------------- 20 times
Solatul magrib ----------------- 15 times
Solatul Ishai --------------------- 10 times.
