Damisa lead campaign to donate foodstuffs to constituency as a results COVID-19 Lockdown

Rep. Ahmed Tijani-Damisa, Chairman, Committee on Federal Capital Territory and Federal Capital Territory Area Councils and Ancillary Matters donated food items worth millions of Naira to some members of his communities in Okene and Ogori/Magongo Local Government Area of Kogi state.

Kogi’s commercial hub of Okene is at the center of the Kogi’s coronavirus lockdown. Kogi state recorded first death of corona virus.

Kogi government has in the past weeks suspended schools across the state – be they public or private, 70% of state government workers were asked to stay at home last week with the most recent move being a week’s closure of shops and markets.

Meanwhile, Okene LG under the leadership of Hon. Muhammad AbdulRazak Yusuf has receive support from Rt. Hon. Ahmed Tijani Damisa,  foodstuffs worth million of naira donated, same also applicable to Ogori/Magongo LG was distributed to the Ward Heads, Community Leaders, Imams, Christians Leader, Market Women, Soldiers, Nigeria Police, Civil Defence, SIB, SSS, Health Department, Rad Safety,  Vigilantes  are not left out of scheme.

The distribution exercise commence today and it will continued to assist less privileged persons, orphans and vulnerable children and various communities across the constituency  in order to ease their feelings during stay at home order.

The leaders commended the Hon. Ahmed Tijani-Damisa for his wisdom and his effort of carrying all along without discrimination.
