Cash Transfer; Hon. Abdulrazaq Commend FG As Cash Distribution To The Poor Begin In Okene.
The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Security Matters in charge of Okene Local Government, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad has commended the Federal Government's Social Insurance Project where the vulnerable and the poor in the community have received cash assistance as part of their Social Safety Net.
Hon. Abdulrazaq stated this when he led his team to supervise the cash distribution in Okene. The elderly, physically challenge persons and the poor from the various communities in Okene received the sum of twenty thousand naira (N20,000) each, some received forty thousand naira (40,000) arrears inclusive while breast feeding mothers among them received additional ten thousand naira (N10,000) as top up.
Over three thousand (3,000) vulnerable persons are expected to benefit from the ongoing cash distribution in Okene Local Government.
Officials from Abuja and the State offices of the Social Investment Program, Security Agencies and the Local Government staff are also on hand to ensure a hitch free exercise.
