Kogi Central is one of the three Senatorial Districts that makes up Kogi State. This Senatorial District, which is majorly populated with the Ebiras, has long suffered an *epileptic* representation in the Red Chamber of the Nigeria's Legislative Arm of Government._
With the spirit of correction to finally arrive at giving Kogi central's leadership a new narrative, the idea to vote competence and not popularity came and *Alhaji Yakubu Oseni* emerged the elected Senator representing the good people of Kogi central._
When he assumed office, our long craved type of representation became a reality as he made the list of Senate Committee Chairmen via his displayed prowess of competence that his colleagues at the Senate observed within few weeks he assumed office._
_Today, we are proud to have elected a Senator that is vocal, active, goal oriented, a humanitarian, humble and problem solver.
Distinguished Senator Yakubu Oseni always focus on the needs of his people and the situation. Within his short period in the Senate Chamber, he has been spotted for his proactiveness, as he always focus on what must be achieved that will benefits his people.
He always focuses on his strengths, on the strengths of people around him and also the followers. His excellent ability as a leader to call the shots and make sure that everyone is focused and concentrated on the most valuable use of their time is essential to the excellent performance as seen in the current struggle for revitalization moribund Ajaokuta Steel Company._
It is right to say that *Distinguished Senator Yakubu Oseni* representing Kogi Central and also the Chairman, Senate Committee on ICT is making his people proud and Nigeria at large as seen in his performances in just less than a year in office._

Sule Okanga,* a former supervisor on Land Matters in Adavi Local Government can feel boastfully and confidently say anywhere and anytime that my campaign for him during elections was one of the best and wise support I have ever offered in politics since my journey of politicking. I feels good being identified with a Leader as *Distinguished Senator Yakubu Oseni.*_
However, direct benefit is turn by turn, I wouldn't say because it hasn't gotten to my turn, I need not tell the truth. Besides, his welfare services and Constituency projects both the completed and the ongoing are general benefits that indirectly touches everyone._
