Hon. (Prince) Otayitie Akerejola Eminefo, Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Power and Energy says the Governorship Elections Petition Tribunal judgment sitting in Abuja is an affirmation of the people’s verdict in the November 16 election.
He made this known in a statement on Saturday and made available by his Media Aide, Muhammed Adabara in Lokoja, while congratulating Gov Yahaya Bello on his victory at the tribunal.
Hon. Otayitie recalled that an overwhelming majority of registered Kogi State voters through the ballot box spoke eloquently their preference of Governor Yahaya Bello and his Deputy Chief David Edward Onoja as their Governor/ Deputy over and above other contenders at the election.
He said that the eloquent preference of the people had not only been accentuated by the united voices of the tribunal justices but by the joy in the hearts and minds of discerning Kogites.
“On behalf of myself and the entire APC family in my LG for whom you have always stood as a symbol of hope and progress, I congratulate you on yet another total victory,” he said.
