The executive Members of Calabash Ladies Forum recently paid a courtesy call on Engr. Dr. Abubakar Sadiku Ohere, the Kogi State Honourable Commissioner for Works and Housing.During the courtesy visit which was paid on him by the body in the presence of the SSA on Entertainment Kogi-Central to the Executive Governor of Kogi State Hon Mario Calabash, Alhaji Yakubu Anumoku Echunavo and a few other notable personalities, the speakers for the group Salid Rodiyat Barakatu and Hajjo Ibrahim Okinimo after presenting an Award of Distinguished Personality to the Hon Commissioner spoke to him primarily to encourage him to keep up the good works he has been doing, hold on fast to the grand loyalty he has always put in his front for his Boss, the Executive Governor of Kogi State Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello. In their statement, the leaders of the forum said, "may it be known to you Sir, that the love and attention which you have for us is a direct extension of the same love the New Direction Government of His Excellency has for the female folk which has made him surpass the 35% of the Affirmative Action in His Cabinet. This forum would like to softly draw your kind attention to our activities from way back wherein we have shown our unalloyed and unwavering support for His Excellency GYB through you such as the immediate adoption of the 4+4 slogan as soon as it was launched to make a lot of videos which trended a lot then and our continued skits production to support His Excellency GYB! Sir, kindly input us in your empowerment funds to raise the standards of lives of most of our members whose primary sources of living in this same entertainment which is not as lucrative as it ought to be in our immediate society."
In the contributions of others, the visit was used as a means to extend their special greetings to His Excellency Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello the Executive Governor of Kogi State, and to particularly wish him well in all he is doing and pray him excellent dispositions as he govern the state and prays him a safe ride on GYB2PYB2023 Insha Allah.
