He announced the kind gesture to the relief of the students and their parents/guardians when his central working committee went on project assessment in some schools led by his personal aide Hon. Adams Ibrahim Kadoka.
According to his aid, “this effort is geared towards stopping our youths from leaving secondary schools without obtaining the school leaving certificate by the Honorable.
" Hon. Damisa, who is the Chairman Committee on FCT and Ancillary matters, stressed that only serious prospective WAEC candidates in all public schools in his constituency would benefit from the waec examination fees.
“It is better you stay with your children and send them to community schools where they will be safe than to give them away to those who will turn them to slaves in townships".
“Some of us include Rt. Hon. Tijani~Ahmed Yusuf Damisa attended village schools despite their obvious challenges and today those who were trained in private schools are not better than us,” he stated.
