HON MOUKTAR ATIMAH FORMALLY DECAMPS TO ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC).
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has today formally received into its fold, the former SDP State Chairman and a critical Stakeholder of the opposition PDP in Okehi LGA, Hon Mouktar Atimah.
The event which took place at the Eika Ohizenyi Civic Centre today was formally superintended by the pioneer Kogi State Chairman of the Progressives Party and presently the SSA on political matters to Kogi State Governor, Hon Haddy Ametuo who formally received the Decampee and his followers into the ruling Party on behalf of the Kogi State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Hon Abdullahi Bello (Dollars).
In his remarks, Hon Ametuo welcomed the Decampee and his followers into the Progressives Party, urged them to be loyal Party members, admonished them to work in synergy with other Party members and as well assured them of equal treatment with others as enshrined in the Party Constitution.
In his speech, Hon Atimah thanked His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello and the Party Organs for providing the enabling ground for his decamping.
He said further that, the leadership qualities of his Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello and his giant strides in development were the factors behind his decision to move to the ruling APC.
As Atimah gave the assurance of his maximum loyalty to the APC, he promised to lead all his followers into the ruling Party to work assiduously alongside other members for the victory of Ododo/Joel in the forthcoming Governorship elections comes November 11th, 2023.
The Council Chairman, Hon Abdulraheem Ozovehe Ohiare who facilitated Hon Mouktar Atimah's move assured him of a level praying ground just as he urged him to prove his worth by strengthening the support base of the APC in Eika Ohizenyi and Okehi LGA in general.
The climax of the political event was the Presentation of APC Flag to Hon Mouktar Atimah to prove his formal admittance into t
he ruling All Progressives Congress.
