Shun All Sectional Agenda and Join Ododo, Hon. Okakanda Urges Kogites
As the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State receives more defectors from the opposition parties across the three Senatorial Districts, the Special Adviser on Domestic to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, *Hon. Abdulrazaq Aminu (Okakanda)* has urged those still promoting the sectional agenda to join hands with Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman and Comr. Joel Oyibo Salifu to consolidate the gains of the New Direction Administration.
Hon. Okakanda who many described as a versatile grassroots political mobiliser said this yesterday in Lokoja while playing host to some of his teeming supporters drawn from various Local Government Areas of the state.
The Special Adviser noted that the trajectory of tactile infrastructural revamping and defeat of criminal elements in the state in the last seven years by the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello ought to be consolidated by Alhaji Ododo who has been part of the system.
While insisting that the Confluence State is too important to be handed over to political amateurs who are just testing their popularity in the political space, Hon. Okakanda said only Alhaji Ododo possesses the true Kogi Agenda where diverse interests of the state would be attended to.
"Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman is not an accidental leader that will base his government on religious or ethnic inclinations. He has been properly groomed to carry on with the onerous task of building Kogi State of our collective dreams and I am optimistic that he will not deviate from the solid foundation being laid by Governor Yahaya Bello", he averred.
Hon. Okakanda consequently charged all stakeholders, women, youths and opinion leaders to be part of the history of ensuring stable development in Kogi State through the election of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman (OAU) and Joel Oyibo Salifu (JOS) come November 11th.
