Grand Dinner in Honour of Hon. Abdullahi Bello (Dollar): A Night of Celebration, Reflection, and Leadership Excellence
It was an evening of elegance, camaraderie, and heartfelt celebration as friends and associates of Hon. Abdullahi Bello (Dollar), the dynamic Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Kogi State Chapter, hosted a special dinner in his honour. The event, held in recognition of his outstanding service and tireless dedication to the success of the party, also marked his remarkable achievement as a Double Chairman, serving concurrently as the Board Chairman of the Agricultural and Rural Management Training Institute (ARMTI).
The dinner, attended by an array of dignitaries from across political, governmental, and social spheres, was not just a feast of fine cuisine but also a celebration of leadership, loyalty, and progress. The hall radiated warmth and admiration as speakers took turns to pay glowing tributes to a man many described as a bridge-builder, strategist, and selfless servant of the people.
Among the eminent personalities present were Hajiya Hawau Abdullahi Bello, the wife of the APC Kogi State Party Chairman; Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, Honourable Minister of Steel Development; Rt. Hon. Mathew Kolawole, former Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly; and Hon. Muhammed Yusuf Ahovi, Honourable Commissioner for Water Resources, Kogi State. Also in attendance were top government officials, APC stalwarts, community leaders, and supporters who came together to honour one of Kogi State’s finest political figures.
In his remarks, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu commended Hon. Bello for his exemplary leadership and steadfast commitment to the unity and progress of the party in Kogi State. He described him as “a man of vision and integrity whose leadership continues to inspire confidence within and beyond the party.”
Similarly, Rt. Hon. Mathew Kolawole lauded the Chairman’s organizational prowess, humility, and inclusive leadership approach. He noted that under Hon. Bello’s stewardship, the Kogi APC has experienced remarkable stability and growth, serving as a model for other states.
Hon. Muhammed Yusuf Ahovi, in his goodwill message, praised Hon. Bello’s contributions to the development of Kogi State, not only through politics but also through his involvement in capacity-building initiatives and grassroots empowerment, particularly under his role at ARMTI.
