Yahaya Bello Disowns Viral Claims, Reaffirms Strong Ties With President Tinubu
PRESS STATEMENT
My attention has been drawn to certain online comments and videos recently circulated by one Joy Sadiq, who goes by the handles @realmmakogii and @realmmakogii2 on Facebook and TikTok. In these posts, she makes a series of unfounded allegations concerning my relationship with His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
For clarity and in the public interest, I wish to state clearly that I have no association with this individual apart from the fact that she is occasionally found among those who claim questionable allegiance to our great party, the APC, in Kogi State.
I completely disown her statements and actions, including this and other instances where she has attacked prominent Nigerians with whom I maintain cordial relationships and shared interests, supposedly in my support.
She does not speak for me, has never represented me, and has never represented any government or entity under my leadership or control. Any claims she makes are entirely her own.
My relationship with our leader and father, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, remains strong, built on respect, understanding, and our shared commitment to collective political goals.
I remain fully committed to the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for a second term in 2027. I reject any attempt by anyone to misrepresent the relationship I enjoy with His Excellency through unnecessary speculation or false narratives.
I therefore urge the public and the media to disregard the statements made by Joy Sadiq, which are uninformed, baseless, and intended to damage my personal and political relationships with the individuals mentioned. Such content should not be given any credibility.
For the record, all my official communications are released solely through my verified channels and national media platforms when approved by me.
