This morning, I had the pleasure of welcoming and celebrating our ECN Sports Team at the Commission’s headquarters following their outstanding performance at the Fresh Air Games Adamawa 2025. Their dedication, discipline, and team spirit have made the Commission proud and set a strong benchmark for future competitions.
Our Sports Coordinator, Mr. D.H. Bamaiyi, and the team were presented with the basketball silver medal, a testament to their hard work and resilience. I am particularly proud of how they showcased teamwork, unity, and healthy competition while positively representing ECN on a national stage.
I thank the team for decorating me with a medal of honour. Consequently, I remain fully committed to supporting sports development at ECN by providing the necessary resources and facilities to enable our teams to thrive. Congratulations once again to our athletes. Indeed, you have made history, and the future is full of promise.
