DG KOTRAMA Celebrates Birthday with Gratitude, Reflection, and a Message of Compassion
The Director General of the Kogi State Traffic Management Agency (KOTRAMA), Engr. Abdulrazaq Aminu, popularly known as Okakanda, has celebrated his birthday with deep gratitude to God and heartfelt appreciation to those who have supported his journey.
Describing himself as a child of grace, Okakanda reflected on his humble beginnings and the remarkable path that has led him to prominence today. According to him, his story is a testament to the power of divine favor and the kindness of people God strategically placed along his path.
He noted that whenever he looks back at his journey, he is overwhelmed with gratitude. First and foremost, he appreciates Allah Almighty, whose mercy and guidance, he said, have sustained him through every stage of life.
Secondly, he expressed sincere prayers and appreciation for the individuals who believed in him and allowed themselves to be used as instruments of God in helping him reach where he is today.
He also extended a surprising but heartfelt acknowledgment to those who doubted him or spread unfounded stories in attempts to pull him down. According to Okakanda, their actions only strengthened his resolve and reminded him that destiny cannot be hindered by human efforts.
In a remarkable show of humility and maturity, he further offered prayers for those who continue to oppose him, noting that “they simply do not know what they are doing.”
The KOTRAMA boss reserved special appreciation for the former Governor of Kogi State and widely respected political leader, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, whom he described as the Kogi Supreme Leader, as well as the current and workaholic Governor, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, for their unwavering belief in his capacity and their continued support.
Using the occasion of his birthday as a moment of reflection, Okakanda also encouraged the public, particularly young people, never to give up on life, stressing that perseverance, faith in God, and patience can transform even the most difficult beginnings into inspiring success stories.
