Leading aspirant for the Ajaokuta Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Hon. Lawal Idris, on Tuesday joined the former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Adoza Bello, for an Iftar gathering where he reaffirmed his loyalty and political commitment to the leadership of the state.
Hon. Idris, who is widely regarded as a prominent political figure and grassroots mobilizer in Ajaokuta Local Government Area, used the occasion to pay a loyalty visit to the former governor and to reiterate his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency.
During the meeting, the aspirant expressed appreciation for the leadership and political structure built by Yahaya Adoza Bello across the state, noting that the former governor remains a rallying point for progressive politics in Kogi and that his Senatorial bid is already progressing.
Hon. Lawal emphasized that his aspiration is driven by the desire to provide effective representation for the people of Ajaokuta, promote development, and strengthen the political unity of the constituency.
He further assured that his ambition is anchored on loyalty to the party’s leadership and commitment to the collective progress of the state.
