Commissioner Abdullahi Bello Celebrates the Birthday of Prophet Muhammad (SAW)
The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Dr. Hon. Abdullahi Bello, has joined Muslims across the globe in commemorating the birthday of the beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In a message marking the occasion, the Commissioner called on Muslim faithful to uphold and emulate the teachings and exemplary character of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), particularly his virtues of peace, compassion, tolerance, unity, and peaceful coexistence.
Hon. Abdullahi Bello emphasized that the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) provide enduring guidance on promoting peace, mutual respect, and harmonious relationships within society.
He therefore encouraged Muslims to reflect these values in their daily lives and contribute meaningfully to the promotion of unity and understanding among people of diverse backgrounds.
"I join Muslims across the globe in commemorating the birthday of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW). May this significant occasion serve as a reminder of his enduring teachings of peace, compassion, tolerance, and love for humanity" he said.
The Commissioner further prayed for sustained peace, unity, progress, and prosperity in communities across the country and beyond.
