Hon. Ohiare Appreciates The Outgoing NYSC Members; Sends Them Forth In A Colourful Ceremony.I
n his own little way to appreciate the outgoing National Youth Service Corps Members who were graduating after a year of meritorious service to their fatherland in Okehi LGA, the goldenhearted Administrator of Okehi LG Council, Hon. AbdulRaheem Ohiare organized a sendforth ceremony for the deserving outgoing Youth Corps Members today.
In a programme held at the Okehi LG Secretariat Complex, the Council Administrator joined by the LG Administrative Team and Okehi Model Secondary School ushered the outgoing Corps Members to a greater and brighter future.
In his goodwill speech during the ceremony, the Council Administrator appreciated God almighty for the grace. He specially commended the NYSC Members for serving their fatherland, primarily Okehi LGA dutifully and effectively. The Council Boss furthermore, prayed God almighty to bless, protect and guide them wherever they go even as he added too that God will favour them in all their further dealings.
The Council Boss equally stated that Okehi LG Council is ready to retain those interested to remain but to be fully engaged immediately the embargo on employment is lifted by the State Government.
"We shall no doubt miss your service and company as you proceed to a brighter future", Hon. Ohiare finally remarked.
In response, the Corps Members expressed their gratitude to the Council Administrator for his love and care and of course for attaching priority to their welfare throughout the period of their service. As they prayed for the success of the administration, they asked God almighty to continue to bless Okehi Council Boss.
The climax of the programme was the colourful entertainment by Ebira artistes, Unique and 2rich who performed to the admiration of all.
Finally, the Council Administrator augmented the NYSC Members transportation fare to their respective destinations.
