Earlier of today, The Wife of Kogi State Governor, her Excellency, Hajiya Rashidat Bello attended  “Foundation for Culture, Youth and Women Empowerment Ododo Centre" at Osisi Community in Adavi Local Government Area where the wife of Adavi LG Council Boss, Mrs. Esther Joseph accompanied her to the visited community.  Those in attendance were Special Adviser on the political matter to the Administrator, Hon. Yusuf Nasiru, the Chief of Staff, Hon. Ismaila Ozi-Isah, the Supervisor on Special Duty, Hon. Osuwa Yunusa, the Zonal Women Coordinator, Hajiya Hawawu and Hajiya Musili.

Among the top 
Government functionaries present at the event were, Hon. Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Mrs. Bolanle Amupitan, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Barrister Abdulkareem Suleiman Omeiza, President. Also, the Chief Executive Officer, Foundation for Culture Youths and Women Empowerment, Dr. Gladyes Adesuwa Makoju, Member Board of Trustee (FCYWE), HRH, Alhaji (Dr) Shaibu Ali, Adeika of Ezi- Onogu, HRH, Mall. Oricha Stephen Asipita, Idu of Iruku, HRH, Mall. Aliyu Adebisi Akatapari of Anignyere, Director and Staff Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Management and Staff of Ododo Weaving and Entrepreneurial center, Osisi, Parish Priest of Saint Leo's Catholic Church Osisi, Rev. Father Mathew Bello and host of others.   

 Earlier in her remarks, the Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation For Culture Youth and Women Empowerment (FCYWE), Dr. Mrs. Gladyes Adesuwa Makoju welcome her Excellency, Hajiya Rashida Bello for honoring her invitation and appreciated her efforts and contributions toward uplifting the foundation. Mrs. Gladyes A. Makoju went down the memory lane of how the acquisition center was initiated some years ago, adduced reasons that drive her passion for the foundation, which is not far fetched from upholding African Traditional and Cultural sense of belongings through appreciation our own locally produced a product as against the use of foreign materials. She intimated the audience on how she begged and encouraged people to enroll and acquire the necessary skills that would enable them to be self-reliance in those days and presently it has trained and graduated a lot of youths in Weaving, Catering, Makeup artist, Agriculturists Fish Pond and to mention but few. She added that the State Government under the able leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello has tremendously focused on human development and as a result,  solicited the state government to accord the foundation a priority in order to cushion the effect of unemployed youth menace in the society to become self-employed. 

While responding, her Excellency, Hajiya Rashidat Bello commended the CEO, Dr. (Mrs) Gladyes Adesuwa Makoju for her initiative and wisdom to change the lives of people in the society, described the development as a dream that has transcended into productivity. Her Excellency, Hajiya Rashidat Bello, added that she was overwhelmed with what she has seen today and pledged to give the feedback to her lovely and developmental minded husband, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello to see how the state government can partner with the foundation for adequate human and sustainable development.

In addition, some of the graduands and trainees gave testimonies of how the foundation has offered required skills for them in various fields for free of charge and today they are proud of being self-employed and employers of labor.
The apex of the event was culturally displayed by some graduands of the skill acquisition center in entertainment before her Excellency was conducted round all the hubs of activities going on at the venue and subsequently commissioned the items donated by her Excellency, Hajiya Rashidat Bello for operation, where she charged the coordinator to use the equipment prudently.

 Among the items donated are; Generator set, Deep Freezer, Sewing Machines, Desktop Computers, Dryers and others too numerous to be listed.

Finally, the of Adavi Council Boss, in the person of Mrs. Esther Joseph thanked her Excellency, Hajiya Raahidat Bello for attending this program despite her tight scheduled and pledged her support for the reelection of the most focused and business-minded Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello in November 16 election, noted that Adavi women are solidly behind her. She further lauded the mother of Kogi State to have put smiles on the faces of the needy through various empowerment program she had done across Kogi State, prayed fervently for her long life and safe returns to her destination.
