As preparation for the November 16 Governorship election reach advance stage, the Administrator of Okene Local Government, Engr. (Mall.) Abdulrazaq Muhammad has tasked all the party structures in the Local Government to brace up and repeat the success story of the last general election.
According to the Council boss, the forthcoming election will be a final referendum on our commitment, love and loyalty to Gov. Yahaya Bello's land mark achievements on infrastructure, Security, Health care services, Provision of water and youth Empowerment among others.
While thanking the party delegates, leaders and stakeholders for the successes recorded so far including the just concluded primary election, Hon. Abdulrazaq urged the party machineries not to rest on their oars but rededicate our efforts towards ensuring Okene Local Government return the highest number of votes in Kogi state.
The Council Administrator therefore directed all party ward Chairmen, forum chairmen, GYB Coordinator, GYB support groups and associations to begin mobolisation as the party will soon roll out modalities for the campaigns.
The peaceful Administrator again reiterated his desire to kneel for the oppositions and solicit for their supports if that wil be a pancea for a successful governorship election.

Elder Advisory Council Chairman, Kogi Central, Hon. Yahaya Karaku, APC Zonal vice Chairman, Hon. Ibrahim Ahovi, SSA Political to the Governor Okene/Ogori Magongo, Hon. Muhammed Tinko, party ward Chairmen, women leaders, GYB support groups, forum chairmen, ward elders advisory council and government appointees attended the meetings.
