The leading political party in Kogi State brought Okene to standstill as supporters of Rt. Hon. Ahmed Tijani Damisa (Asuehi) stormed Alh. Ado Ibrahim Square, Uruvucheba Okene for Governor Yahaya Bello 2nd term ambition.
The popular square, venue of the event was thronged by thousands of people and party loyalists, praising the Governor Yahaya Bello and chanting “Sai GYB-CEDO”
Damisa described Governor Yahaya Bello as a tested and trusted politician, who would perform excellently if reelected.
He said the party’s candidate has passion for the sustainable development of the state, adding that he would not disappoint the people of the state.
“If you know where this state was twenty years ago before Gov. Yahaya Bello administration, you will understand there is need to vote for Yahaya Bello for continuity.
“Bello has the capacity to translate his vision into reality and that why I am asking you to vote for him during the election and he will not dissapoint, Damisa said”.
