Joseph Omuya salami* has expressed his grief over the untimely death of Hajiya Rabiyat Bello* who died today; an elder sister to the Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello

In the condolence message from Hon. JOS to His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello through his Media Aide, Comr. Yusuf Ademoh, said "he was saddened to hear the sad news of the death of a lovely sister, a mother and women mobilizer who was so dedicated and committed to the success of New Direction Government prior to this shocking news. She was a humble, unassuming  successful woman, a political mobilizer that opted for public a herculean task of repositioning Kogi State by the New Direction Government", added she was very supportive with prayers and indeed, contributed immensely to the victory of his Excellency GYB, during the last gubernatorial election in Kogi State.


Adavi Council Boss urged the bereaved family, the government and people of Kogi State to take solace in the fact that the late *Hajiya. Rabiyat Bello* lived an “enviable and accomplished life worthy of emulation”.

He urged the state government to immortalise her in “recognition of her contribution to the state’s growth and development”.

 _He finally prayed "God forgives her known and unknown sins, accept her soul in aljannat firdous and gives the fortitude to her immediate family, as well as the entire New Direction family to bear this irreparable loss", he said._
