EASTER MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN KOGI CENTRAL ELDERS ADVISORY COUNCIL, ALH YAHAYA KARAKU.

Amid the global pandemic COVID-19, death tolls, and economic misery the whole world is currently battling with, the Chairman Kogi Central Elders Advisory Council, An Elder Statesman and a politician per excellent Alh. Yahaya Karaku (Obama), today urged a dejected world not to give up hope of a brighter future.

In his Easter message, Alhaji Karaku also urged others suffering in the country and around the globe due to the spread of the pandemic not to lose faith.

He said: "At a time of world food shortage, financial deflation, and the spread of the new disease- COVID19, it is urgent to rediscover grounds for hope." He also called for a renewed peace between religious sects in the state, pointing out that, Easter demonstrate a time to show love and kindness as it's the practice of Christ.

Alhaji Yahaya Karaku continue by saying, sometimes we carry resentments, grudges, prejudices, hurts and angers like security blankets, preached that the Christians should avoid these vices as they are not part of the practices of Jesus Christ.

He concludes by wishing all the Christians in Kogi Central, the State and the Nation at large a glorious and happy easter celebration.
