The lawmaker representing Adavi/Okehi federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. (Engr) Joseph Asuku Bello has hailed the executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello on assenting to two Bills which were passed by the Kogi State House of Assembly for the establishments of Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara and Central Reference Hospital, Okene.
The Governor had on Friday, 21st August, 2020 assented to the Bills.
The lawmaker, in his statement, described the assent to the Bills as a significant moment in the history of State, especially that of Governor Bello's Administration, and thanked the Speaker and Members of Kogi State House of Assembly for the speedy legislative work on the Bills.
Hon. Asuku Bello also commended the foresightedness and leadership dexterity of Governor Yahaya Bello towards building a new Kogi State and setting standards in all sectors of the economy.
Hon. Asuku Bello noted that the signing into law of the Bills will not only address issues of education and health in the State but will also create employment for the teeming population of Kogi State, while driving forward the state industrial developments.
The lawmaker urged the people of the State to continue to live in peace and harmony, while supporting the administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello to enable him deliver the much needed dividends of democracy to the state.
