The community leader who spoke on behalf of the delegated members said the purpose of their visit was to thank the executive chairman on behalf of the community for using his office to influence social amenities, protect the lives and property of every citizen in the community. "Our visit is to say "thank you" for influencing Kogi State Vigilante Group station to our domain, and deploying more security agencies to man our environment targeted at curbing security threats in the community which as we speak has yielded results as some motorcycle snatchers were apprehended and other social vices have been curbed.
"We also wish to thank you for influencing four (4) Electricity Transformers to help restore electricity in our community and also for employed security guards to secure our Cottage Hospital. Many can attest to your passionate concern for the security of your homeland, and your readiness to seek for lasting solutions to tackle challenges facing the communities", Alh. Abedo D.S concluded.
Hon. Joseph Omuya in his brief remarks, appreciated their visit, and acknowledged the efforts of His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State for always giving him the necessary support to deliver on the mandate of leadership to the good people of Adavi. "Through efforts and support of His Excellency, I can proudly say the people of Adavi-Eba have been successfully lifted out of darkness as the four (4) transformers donated to the community have been fully installed, energized, and put in use. This development will also help security agencies to tackle security challenges in those areas," the Executive Chairman stated.
Conclusively, the council boss urged the community leaders to always draw his attention when necessary. "We have vowed to work very closely with every community in Adavi to strengthen peace and unity, we will support every community without hesitation and will always frown at anything that threatens the relative peace of our land. We are here to serve and will always be at your service anytime, any day", Hon. Joseph Omuya remarked.
