NYCN boss visit Actionaid, strengthens bond

Poised on the need to accelerate positive partnership for the good of youth in the state, the chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria Kogi State Chapter, Amb. Usman Ogohi has commended Actionaid in the state for it developmental youth driven programs. 

The Council Chairman who led his team of executives to the Program Director of Actionaid in the state lauded Actionaid for her series of programs and projects which he said has immensely impacted in the lives of Kogi youth. 

Ogohi further promised the Council's unalloyed support towards the sustainability of their partnership, while beseeching on behalf of over 2.2 million youths for inclusiveness and adequate representation in their programs. 

Earlier in his response,  the Program Manager of Actionaid in the state, Mr. Friday Ogeni congratulated the new executives of the Council, while urging them to leverage on the profile of the Council and her mother body, Ministry of Youth and Sports Development to strike partnership and seek support for the Council.

While appreciating the Chairman for the visit,  he promised to support the Council in any positive way towards achieving her set goals.

Friday further urged the Council executives to seek out for other donor agencies that can fund and partner with them.

Similarly, the chairman also visited the Executive Director of Participation Initiative for Behavioural Change in Development (PIBCID), Mrs. Halima Oyiza who promised the Council boss of her support towards building a better Kogi State.
