It was a glorious day for a land mark academic achievement to both the Rural Women Empowerment and Youth Development Foundation (RWEYDF) and the Federal University Lokoja (FUL) when they signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to turn the site of the former to an ICT-Hub of the latter.
The occasion took place in the Board Room of the Federal University, Lokoja as witnessed by the DVC, Prof M S Audu; the Registrar, Prof Usman Suleiman Obansa; Head of ICT, Prof Francisca Oladipo; SSA to the VC, Mr Emmanuel Obafemi and Barr. Omachoko Ogala.
From the RWEYDF were, Haroun Opotu Yussuff (BoT); Mr Onuche; Mrs Sherifat Mahmoud; Mrs Hauwa Hussein; Mr Jaiyeola Ahmed Araga; Alh Jafaar Mohammed and other ICT Staff.
The pictures speak volumes on the occasion as the MD/CEO of RWEYDF, Chief (Hajia) Maryam Ladi Ibrahim FCNA, and the Vice Chancellor of FUL, Prof Olayemi Durotimi Akinwumi did justice to the MoU to make it a reality.
