Federal Lawmaker, Damisa, sinks motorised boreholes, rehabilitation of road, promises not to disappoint constituents* .

The member representing Okene-Ogori/Magongo Federal Constituency in the house of representatives, Hon Tijani~Ahmed Yusuf Damisa has concluded arrangements to sink no fewer than 30 motorised boreholes in the constituency.

Apart from this, the lawmaker through his Personal Assistant Hon. Adams Ibrahim Kadoka said his boss had designed programmes and projects in the critical areas and the areas being targeted by the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello, to complement the efforts of the governor at making life more meaningful to the people of the state.

The projects include a complete renovation of primary/secondary schools, ongoing rehabilitation of Otoyi  road, provision of solar-powered street light and sinking of boreholes for various communities that are located within the constituency.

The benefiting schools include Nurul-Islam Primary school, Queen of Apostle Colloege, College of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Okene,  LGEA Ohiana, Ebira Muslim Community  College, Okengwe,  and boreholes for Abuga Ozuja, Bariki, Onyukoko and other communities in Okene and Ogori/Magongo local government areas.

Also, GRA, Okene, Onyukoko, Okengwe Cemetery and other communities in Ogori/Magongo benefited from the street light project aimed at making the communities safer and conducive for living.

The lawmaker, however, is a lover of education, he was ready to complement the efforts of the state government at making learning more conducive for the pupils and make the teachers enjoy their daily jobs said  Kadoka. 

The lawmaker also said he had designed a series of empowerment programmes to take care of the various segments of the society, saying he would never disappoint the people.
