Eche Enyiene is an annual event of gathering Women together and host by famous Great Calabash Ladies and other notable Calabash Production Family.
The said event is geared towards celebrating and promoting women substance and valor who have carved a niche for themselves in their chosen fields.
Myriads of events line up for the program such as Cultural Music ('Ikede', 'Arigede', 'Eche-Ori', 'Onyimiriweyi', 'Ichekene', 'Ogugu'), Ebira History, Food, Dressings, Performances by notable Ebira Movie/Music artists.
Production/Launch of different movies in every year to buttress women activities in the society.
Space would not permit us to mention names of people who have in one way or another in making this event a special one!
Let me quickly appreciate Our APC Senatorial Candidate Engr. Dr. Abubakar Ohere and his wife whose love for entertainment transcends what words can express. We are grateful sir for your unfailing and unflinching concern for us and especially your viable hands in our just concluded event.
We use this means also to thank the DG Government House Administration Alhaji Umar Oricha Shaibu whose love for us and entertainment has in more than a way helped to bring our event of yesterday to a glorious end. We are grateful for your accepting to be the Grand Patron of Calabash Ladies- a designation which was vested upon you in a very short time and within thes same period you picked up the duty. We thank you sir! May your prayers be answered at all times. We also thank our Amiable and youthful Chief of Staff, Pharmacy Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku whose efforts at seeing to our event to be a memorable one. Our Super Star Odogwu Suleiman Hi-speed Daud, thanks for your unflinching love for Calabash Family and Ebira Entertainers.
Permit us to specially appreciate our very own StarBoy Hon Murkta Bello "Senator" Chairman M-Big, SA to his Excellency on Domestic Affairs and the M-Big Family who is a major stakeholder in entertainment. His presence at the event would have been enough, but he went ahead and did a lot for The Calabash Ladies, Isah Muhammed Rufai Onubedo from ATGO Group and another incapacitated artiste Jimoh Nuhu Atahu from Calabash Youth Movie Forum. He did monetary Donations and we are please that he came up with what he has done for us.
We thank Alhaji Khalifa Abdulrahman Okene for all the helps he has offered to Calabash Ladies, thank you sir. It would interest you to know that this year’s event was targeted at celebrating our heroic son His Excellency The Executive Governor of Kogi State on his bold step of making a mark in the political set up of this country and his giant strides of infrastructural developments in Kogi State.
We thank Ebira Entertainers and everyone for their contributions and assistance towards making this event a special one. We have no adequate words to convey our thanks and warm thoughts to you all.
