HON OKAKANDA CANVASS GROUP FOR ODODO CENTRAL GENERAL MEETING IN ORIETESU WARD, OKENE LGA
The branch of Honourable Okakanda Canvass Group for Ododo for APC in Orietesu ward of Okene LGA hosted hundreds of party faithfuls to a central general meeting organized for the advancement of Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo for the forth coming of governorship 2023 elections.
The general meeting which kick-started at 12 Noon in Orietesu Okene had in attendance key party stalwarts from the ward, Kogi Central axis and the entire LGA and other leaders of different support groups.
At the occasion, speakers upon speakers took time to appreciate the good people of the ward for coming out in large numbers to show solidarity and support for the party and the candidates while they acknowledged the importance of Orietesu ward to the victory of any political party in the council and urged the people to sustain the tempo even as they gave the assurance that the efforts that has been put in place would never go unnoticed.
The chairman of the forum in the ward, Hon Awo Yakubu Wokili in his speech reiterate the commitment of the forum to intensify great efforts to ensure the victory of APC in all the 24 polling stations, noting that the combo of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, voting them is must necessary to get the much needed democratic dividends and political attention to the ward.
He assured the crowd of supporters that the forum has been relentless and we're always on ground at the grassroot to keep advancing and propagating the choice of Ododo, noting that today's expanded gathering makes it the first since the emergence of our candidates from the primary elections.
The Central Coordinator of the political group in Orietesu Okene LGA who also doubled as the host Hon. Yakubu Abdulazeez A, made a short remarks about the chances of the APC and the hope for a new lease of when they get into the political offices.
