ODODO CONTINUES TO WIN SUPPORTERS AHEAD OF NOVEMBER 11 POLLS
Ahmed Usman, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, continues to gain support from his followers and key stakeholders in preparation for the gubernatorial election scheduled for November 11.
Described as down-to-earth, unassuming, and humble, Ododo has successfully garnered support from various opposition parties in the state, thereby fracturing their ranks.
During a recent meeting with Honorable Sheikh Ibrahim, a prominent member of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and Hon Mohammed Shekur another PDP heavyweight, Ododo emphasized that the upcoming polls and the potential successor to the incumbent governor, Yahaya Bello, are not solely about him. He highlighted the significance of collective action, transcending tribal and religious boundaries, to ensure sustained development and continual progress for the state. Ododo also highlighted the benefit Kogi State stands to gain from the APC-led government at the center, given its history as a stronghold of the APC. He emphasized that now is the opportune time for the state to be rewarded for its unwavering commitment and support to the APC at the federal level.
Ododo encouraged the people to perceive his candidacy as an opportunity to build upon the achievements of the current administration, which will ultimately bring benefits to all citizens in the state.
It is worth noting that Sheikh Ibrahim recently participated in political discussions with both the Governor and Ododo regarding the forthcoming elections.
