The Veterans in Ebira Theatre Entertainment The Veterans in Ebira Theatre Entertainment tagged "Movie Stars For OAUtagged "Movie Stars For OAU" the likes of Ajoze, Echunavo Umachaku, Ohida, Onwanchi,  Anavami, Akaramuda and Ogavuda from 3 pioneer Groups in the land and Hon Mario Calabash the Senior Special Assistant to the Kogi State Governor Kogi State on Entertainment embarked on an Advocacy/Appeal Tour to well-meaning Anebiras across the lengths and breaths of the federation in a bid to garner support, inclusiveness and overall interest in two major events ahead of the entire Anebira in the year 2023. These two events are the November 2023 Gubernatorial Election of Alhaji Usman Ododo and the 2023 Population & Housing Census. 

At the commencement of these visits, Royal blessings were sought for this onerous task from the Ohi of Okene in the person of HRH Alhaji Isah Mamman Okatahi and the Ohi of Okengwe. They prayed that they would always be protected in all their journeys, adding that the collective aspiration and interest of Anebiras in the coming of Alhaji Usman Ododo would be brought to fruition divinely. 

Having received these Royal blessings, the next port of call was to the Governorship flagbearer for APC Alh. Usman Ododo who endorsed the team as part of his campaign train promising to be of full support to the group. He said that he was particularly glad to see such level of unity amongst the entertainers which he said has always been a long-time fear he had felt could be allayed!

In his words, Ododo charged them saying "this should be a pointer and a visible indicator to unite the entire Ebiraland". The Governorship hopeful added that this position he was been asked to go fill-up belonged to the entire anebiras as well as the entire populace of Kogi State. He reiterated the major focus of the GYB regime as always preaching for a one, strong, and united Kogi State. He added that with this in place, it should be known that they who have always been the foot soldiers of His Excellency would not preach otherwise! He went further to say that GYB is the first governor in Kogi State who has attempted to unite the entire Kogite and has achieved great success in this feat. He enjoined that this group should also stay united and indivisible. 

Ododo promised to be an all-inclusive Governor to the entire State when elected come later this year, clamoring that these visits and campaigns should not just be limited to Ebiraland but extended to Igala and Okun lands. In his speech, Ododo said that no place should be left untouched as far as Kogi State is concerned with regards to the upcoming governorship elections. He promised to be focused, diligent, and committed to his call and duties, and not to disappoint God and man if elected in November 2023 and sworn-in in January of 2024!

Returning from Alhaji Usman Ododo's residence, a second stop was made at Barr. Sanni's place (Director, Kings Royal Hotels Okene) who promised to be of good cheer and support this movement embarked upon by these entertainment veterans of the land. He added that this was the time for Anebira to speak with a voice to achieve another collective purpose! 

After Barr Sani, a stop was made at the residence of Alh. Khalifa Abdulrahman Okene who was reached on the phone as he had traveled out of the country at the time of visit. In his comments, he promised to be of great support as he was elated at this development. He added that he was particularly glad that it was quite laudable for Ododo's choice. He, therefore advised the entire Anebira to sheath their swords, saying that whatever forms of resentment anyone may have had should be dropped and collectively we should support this KogiProject for 2023. In his closing remarks, Alh. Khalifa promised to be of great support to this group and the movement this was embarking on. 

The next visited personality was Alh. Kabiru BADAMS who welcomed the team, appreciated the visit and could not hide his joy that such a team existed.  He said that the unity among these artists in Ebira was an indicator that Ebira would remain united and indivisible. He promised to use his influence to bring-in the Ciroma of Ebiraland in the person of HRH Alh. Muhammed Sanni Omolori and Alh. Sanusi Abubakar of Gamji into the scheme of things to support this very great and noble movement. He added that the entire Anebira should be united at this point to support the candidacy and choice of Alhaji Usman Ododo. He went on to say that with all that we may have as individuals, One Ebira should be paramount and brought to the fore with regard to our present situation. 

From Alhaji Kabiru, the next port of call was made to Alhaji AbdulLateef Bello Babamba whose point was also based on solidifying our stands as Ebira. He made mention of the fact that Kogi State belonged to everyone of us and that the governing of the state isn't the birthright of any particular group or section. He advised Anebiras to think in this direction and have a focus!

He pledged his support to the group, saying that he could be called upon in all of the movements the group would embark upon.

Leaving Alhaji Abdullateef, a call was made to Engr. Muh'd Ibrahim who was not available and said that he was also on a movement with regards to the Ododo's aspiration. He lent his voice and support for the team, referring to the movement as needed and most expedient via telephone conversation.

A visit was paid to Dr. Sanusi Ohiare (DSO) the immediate past Director General of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) and an aspirant during the APC gubernatorial primaries. Speaking, Dr. Ohiare advised that there was more than a reason for Ebira's unity calling for all necessary steps to be taken. He added that he was particularly waiting for the official commencement of campaigns to reel out his campaigns for The Ododo's movement. He added that the fact that he aspired for this position and did not win wasn't going to stop him from supporting the choice of Ododo.

So many other personalities were visited during these advocacy visits and they showed their support in various ways. One such person was Hon. Engr. Muhammed Yusuf SSA On Solid. Our father and brother M I Obaro was not left out. Mr Obaro who asserted that he had already met with His Excellency as well as the governorship flagbearer, promised to be available and supportive. He sued for unity of purpose from all Anebira. He also pleaded that for those who may have benefited in one way or the other, they should expect greater benefits. While asking also that those who may have one reservation or the other should please work towards the actualization of this consolidation movement to have some benefits afterward. He added that he was particularly glad to hear Anebira speaking in one voice and commended His Excellency for this great job, adding that he was pleased to visit him to express his heartfelt joy at this level of orientation he had put in place. 

The group also visited places where Ebiras lived in Abuja in large numbers and tried to engage and assuage these people about the movement and the need to be on the rise to support the ambition of Ebiraland. 

In similar tones, the moderator of this group Hon. Mario Calabash SSA On Entertainment Kogi-Central, Chairman of this group Alhaji Ajoze, Alhaji Umachaku who is the spokesman for the house, Akaramuda the Coordinator, the woman leader Hajia Anavami, Alhaji Echu-navo the Mukadam and the others promised not to leave any stone unturned promising to take this group to greater heights and of course recognition. They added that they would visit as many places and persons as possible claiming that they remained the eyes of the celebrities in Ebiraland whose stakes could not be undermined. In their collective words, they added that this Ododo's movement is a priority for the team and it must be treated as such at all times until the desired goal is met. 

This group seizes this opportunity to appeal to the entire Anebira especially those living in  places outside Kogi State to look into their PVCs to ensure the unity of Ebira ahead of this coming events of elections and census. 

The SSA on Entertainment Kogi-Central Hon Mario Calabash had also lent his voice that the coming of Ododo was to consolidate on the achievements of GYB!

The group appreciated and commended the efforts of DD Hi-Speed for his sole desire to restore and foster unity among the Ebira Entertainment playmakers. The house thereafter dedicated this unity and movement to DD Hi-Speed for his invaluable efforts at fostering unity amongst them.
