HON OHIARE VISITS HRH OBOBANYI OF IHIMA.
"...Interfaces With The Palace Council & Subjects".
As part of his efforts to reposition Okehi LGA to greatness and ensure smooth ride for APC and her Gubernatorial Candidate in the November 11th, 2023 elections, the Executive Chairman of Okehi LGA visits HRH the Obobanyi of Ihima, Chief Samuel Adayi Onimisi in his Royal Palace in Obeiba, Ihima.
The Council Chairman's interface with the Monarch, Palace Council and key Subjects was in respect to the forthcoming Gubernatorial elections where he sought for the Clan's total support for Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the APC Gubernatorial Candidate.
In a charge to the Monarch and his Subjects, Hon Ohiare urged them to throw their weight behind Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo whom he described as the only alternative that would surely consolidate on the legacies of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State. He went on to beseeched the Royal Father who is much revered by his Subjects to make all see reasons why Alhaji Ododo should be supported wholeheartedly, especially going by the love His Excellency, has for the Clan and good people of Ihima which was obviously demonstrated by the ongoing projects and appointments given to illustrious sons & daughters of the Clan and Ihima in general. This if effected, he further added, would charge His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello and his incoming successor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo to do more for the people and Ihima District, by God's grace.
Response from HRH the Obobanyi of Ihima was in the affirmative as he gave his assurances without mincing words. Further referring to his kinsmen as true sons of Ebira, HRH the Obobanyi said, "there are no doubts as to their total support for the Ebira cause in entirety".
Earlier, some of his Palace Chiefs and Executives that spoke corroborated his stand as they all assured of their commitments towards the success of Governor Yahaya Bello's government and the victory of the incoming one, insha'Allah, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo comes November 11th, 2023.
Thereafter, security matters were delved into as the Council Chairman maintained that security is everybody's business, thereby, urging all to be Security conscious and as well be cautious of their doings, the company they keep and transactions they engage in.
The climax of the visit was prayers offered for His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello; Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo alongside the progressive Cabinet of His Excellency and the overall peace and progress of Ebiraland.
