In a continued bid to give APC & Ododo an easy ride in the forthcoming elections in Okehi LGA and also ensure a well secured domain, the Okehi Council Chairman, Hon Abdulraheem Ozovehe Ohiare interfaced with the Zango Abobo Community yesterday evening in Zango Abobo.
The session which was predominantly based on security and endorsement of Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo was a remarkable one.
The Council Chairman addressed the Zango Community who were represented by the sectional heads, youth and women wing representatives on security needs thereby calling for a sustained security architecture that was established since the inception of the Zango and Trailer Park. Urging the marketers and settlers in the environs to be security vigilant, he charged them on providing useful and prompt information to the appropriate quarters via the already established channels.
Thereafter, the Council Boss delved on the gospel of "Ododo/Joel 2023" Viz a Viz His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello's giant strides in governance which calls for a total support for the former, which will in turn bring about the sustenance we all are yearning for. Hon Ohiare specifically, tasked the Hausa, Fulani and other Ethnic groups to deliver Zango Abobo to APC 100% and as well express their numerical strength across other Polling Units they are dominant across Okehi LGA.
In their separate responses, the Zango Community Chairman and his deputy, Alh Usman Alhassan and Alh Abubakar Tukur respectively keyed into the security blueprints already established and vowed to deliver their votes in bulk to Ododo/Joel in the November 11th Gubernatorial elections.
The Youth Chairman and Women Leader also corroborated the views of the previous speakers as they assured the Council Chairman of massive mobilization on the election day just as they referred to Ododo's mandate as a victorious one ordained by God almighty.
The climax of the interface was the unanimous endorsement of Alh Usman Ahmed Ododo as the next Governor of Kogi State by the Zango Community.
