HON. OHIARE GRACED, HONOURED, AND DECORATED AT THE 6TH COMBINED CONVOCATION OF THE KOGI STATE COLLEGE OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY, OBANGEDE.
~~As Uhuodo-Obangede-Okaito/Usungwe-Uboro-Omavi Road Rehabilitation commences Next Week".-Gov. Yahaya Adoza Bello.
The Executive Chairman of Okehi Local Government, Hon. Abdulraheem Ozovehe Ohiare was today honoured and decorated by the management and the governing Council of the Kogi State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Obangede as the most outstanding Council Boss in Okehi Local Government the Institution ever had that has taken the welfare of the College a primary priority.
His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Visitor to the College and the Guest of Honour at the epic Convocation, lauded his Son, Abdulraheem Ozovehe Ohiare for the compliments of his good work in the College, as read by the College Provost, Dr. Mrs., Hannah Oziohu Abraham; urging him to be steadfast on the path of a good servant leadership of which he was certified with a meritorious award in this great Convocation ceremony.
His Excellency, who commissioned several physical projects upon his arrival, led by the College Governing Council Chairperson, Hajiya, Hauwakulu Ibrahim, commended the management for the maintenance of the existing structures and the efforts put in place to install the new development he met today. He assured the College management that he would continue to prioritize the improvement of the College to a world-class status.
His Excellency in his closing remarks, expressed shock at the current state of the Uhuodo-Obangede-Okaito road, and Obangede-Ihima road respectively, and without extensive inquiry thereto said, a State emergency meeting shall be convened on Monday, 10th September 2023 for the immediate commencement of the rehabilitation of the aforementioned township roads, and shall be commissioned before the end of his tenure, Gov Yahaya Bello further vowed.
This pronouncement by His Excellency plugged the audience into a thunderous jubilation.
In reaction to the latter's last remarks, the Okehi Council Boss thanked His Excellency for finally heeding to long anticipation of Okehi Citizens to see their roads rehabilitated before the expiration of the Gov. Yahaya Bello administration.
