OKEHI POLITICAL NEWS UPDATE;

At the Conference Hall of the Kogi State Government House today, 

The Kogi State First Citizen,  His Excellency,  Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, CON, engaged all the Kogi State Functionaries (Executive Officials, Legislators, and Party Excos)/in a Strategic interactive session ahead of the Nov. 11, 2023 Kogi Governorship Election. 

The Executive Chairman of Okehi Local Government, Hon Abdulraheem Ohiare led his Executive and Legislative Subjects to the epic pre-election interactive fora with the Governor and leader of the Party. 

His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello said the meeting was called to "Charge" all the Elected, Appointed, and Constituted Party functionaries, both at the State and the Local Government levels to rise above the current commitment and ensure all the territories in the State are captured for APC Candidate, Ododo Ahmed Usman to victory. 

His Excellency abreast the congress about the changes in the initial campaign schedules as follows; 

• The Constituencies Campaign has been canceled, but shall now settle for the Districts Campaign only. The Governor added that the state Campaign shall commence from Kogi West Senatorial District on Saturday, 14th October 2023, while the Eastern District and Central follow accordingly, then The grand finale to wrap up the Campaign shall take place at Muhammadu Buhari Square, Lokoja on the 8th November 2023.

• The Governor also avails Congress of the plan of the State to doll out its Rice palliative, which shall double that of the just concluded Federal Government Palliatives before the election. 

"The current administration has done well to deserve a massive vote for the candidate of the ruling party for consolidation and continuity beyond 2023". Yahaya Bello said.
