You picked me from nowhere and placed me somewhere, a rare act of grace and selflessness that continues to shape my journey and inspire many. I am not just a product of your vision, but a proud ambassador of your belief that 'the child of nobody can become somebody without knowing anybody.' Through your leadership, many of us found a platform to serve, lead, and grow.
You are not only a political giant; you are a symbol of unity and meritocracy. Since the creation of Kogi State, no governor has done what you did, removing your shoes for your appointee to succeed you, proving once again that you value competence and loyalty above tribe, religion, or background.
Even after your time in office, you have continued to walk with grace through challenging times. While your adversaries predicted your downfall, what we see today is the steady dissolving of every challenge, confirming that truth, impact, and sincerity will always speak louder than noise. Your service to the people has left a mark that time cannot erase.
As you celebrate another year today, I pray for long life, renewed strength, divine wisdom, and a continued legacy of greatness. You are not just a former governor, you are a living institution, and your name remains etched in the history of Kogi State and in the hearts of those you have empowered.
