Ward A APC Crisis: A Call for Peaceful Resolution and Unity
As we continue to reposition and restructure Ward A APC from 23 to 100 polling units, a recent meeting was held at the Rt. Honourable Speaker's Lodge to discuss pressing issues affecting our party. I'm appealing for calm and peaceful resolution, as we are democrats and loyal party members who love Governor Ododo and President Bola Tinubu.
Key Takeaways from the Meeting:
- Mallam Muhammed Otue's leadership qualities were questioned, and it's likely he'll be persuaded to resign for peace and stability.
- The expansion of Ward A APC requires a new operational approach.
- There are conflicting accounts of Otue's removal and reinstatement, raising concerns about inconsistencies.
Concerns and Appeals:
- We question the resolution made by just 5 senior appointees without consulting the larger group of 33 attendees.
- We appeal to the Honourable Speaker to engage with Alhaji Aliyu Akaba's led executive for a win-win solution and to foster unity.
- Concerns were raised about Otue's executive leadership, including questionable composition and selection of members.
A Call for Unity:
Let's remain resolute and peaceful as we work towards repositioning and restructuring Ward A APC. We await the Rt. Honourable Speaker's review of the garnishing order to foster unity and cohesion in our party.
Appreciation:
Thanks to the Honourable Speaker for his timely intervention to ensure the right thing is done in Ward A APC.
