The many comic reactions for a few weeks now about the statement "FGYB said, my capacity was too much" are amusing
Perhaps I would have joined the train, but I've always tried to be diplomatic and avoid issues related to FGYB and his key lieutenants. This is because I once respected those people and regarded them as our leaders when things were going smoothly. This is not because I've no reasons to spite them as others do.
However, i am the type that holds on to the belief that a spoilt river can resettle, and if that happens, where will we, as followers, put our faces? This singular reason has made me mind my business when our leaders are at loggerheads.
But there are limits to my diplomacy. My greatest anticipation from every outing of FGYB's lieutenants has always been to hear that GYB betrayed them. When CEDO was boxed to the corner with questions that could make him say such, he tried to play around it, but he couldn't dodge considering FGYB as his backbone to grow his political career and networks till this stage, and that to me clears every other thing.
Everybody can say whatever they like, but the "FGYB betrayed me" maxim is one statement I don't want to hear any of FGYB's key lieutenants utter. I could count a few of us who stood firm for FGYB from 2015 till date, but we have nothing to show for it.
While FGYB was empowering his key lieutenants, giving them opportunities to employ and deploy, it was expected that they would prioritize people like us and support us. Instead, they became rebellious when we requested our own opportunities.
What do we do? Like orphans, we became optionless and continued to support them. People who were far below us in age, efforts, and intellect were considered for juicy positions, but a few of us were neglected despite our commitments.
Every time we tried to ask what our offenses were, we faced neglect. No one would pick our calls, reply to our texts, or listen to our problems. Every time we asked to be considered, they said we disturbed too much, reminding us of the little they had done for us.
Special Advisers were shared, SSAs were shared like the ocean (even to outsiders), and several other positions but neglecting us. Juicy federal jobs were given to slay queens and family members, but whenever we spoke up, they said we should be grateful for the little we received.
So, tell me, if you think those of us in this category are ungrateful, how ungrateful are you who FGYB has given financial freedom, connections, wealth, mansions, and more who still thinks FGYB betrayed you because you weren't considered as a candidate for our party, APC?
FGYB is no saint, he has his shortcomings, but he betrays no one. Instead, he created an enabling environment for you to excel beyond limits. He saw that you had no legs and, out of his abundance of heart, gave you legs plus wings. Only for some people to start thinking they can fly far above their master.
Something we didn't dare, and many of you started witch-hunting us, cheating us out of our benefits with your power and positions.
I only believee judgment day starts from earth, so everyone should face their karma. For I believe everyone is the problem of themselves, not FGYB.
