APC KOGI STATE CHAIRMAN INAUGURATES SCREENING COMMITTEE FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMANSHIP AND COUNCILLORSHIP ASPIRANTS
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Kogi State Chapter has continued to intensify its preparations ahead of forthcoming political activities across the state. In line with this commitment, the State Chairman of the party, Dr. Hon. Abdullahi Bello (Dollar), has formally inaugurated the Screening Committee saddled with the responsibility of screening all chairmanship and councillorship aspirants from the various Local Government Areas.
Speaking during the inauguration, Dr. Abdullahi Bello noted that the committee’s mandate is to ensure a transparent, credible, and thorough screening process that reflects the values and internal democratic standards of the APC. He emphasized that the party remains focused on fielding only competent, loyal, and community-oriented individuals who are capable of delivering effective grassroots governance.
He further charged members of the committee to carry out their duties with fairness, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility, stressing that their actions will play a major role in strengthening the party’s structures across the state.
The chairman reaffirmed that the APC in Kogi State is fully committed to orderly, peaceful, and inclusive political activities. He called on all aspirants to cooperate with the committee and uphold the spirit of unity and brotherhood that the party is known for.
The inauguration marks a significant step toward the successful conduct of the party’s internal processes as preparations continue across all Local Government Areas.
