Ododo, APC Chairman Reaffirm Political Alliance with Hon. Ahmed Tijani Damisa
Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, alongside the Kogi State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, recently paid a strategic courtesy visit to Hon. Ahmed Tijani Damisa, a three-time former member of the House of Representatives who represented the Okene Ogori Magongo Federal Constituency.
The visit was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen party unity and consolidate political support within the Kogi Central Senatorial District. During the visit, Governor Ododo praised Hon. Damisa for his unwavering loyalty to the APC and his continued support for the present administration, as well as the political legacy of former Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello GYB.
The governor described Hon. Damisa as a dependable and influential party leader whose political experience and grassroots connection remain vital to the stability and growth of the APC in Kogi State.
In his remarks, the APC State Chairman highlighted Hon. Damisa’s strategic importance to the party, particularly in the areas of mobilization, party structure, and grassroots engagement. He noted that Hon. Damisa’s contributions have played a significant role in the APC’s electoral successes in Kogi State and at the federal level, adding that many of the achievements recorded by the current administration are built on the sacrifices and leadership of committed party stakeholders like him.
Responding, Hon. Ahmed Tijani Damisa warmly welcomed the governor and party leadership, reaffirming his total commitment to the APC and the Ododo led administration. He pledged to continue mobilizing political support for the party and to actively defend the people centered and development focused agenda of the Kogi State Government.
The visit further underscored the APC’s commitment to internal cohesion and sustained political collaboration as the party continues to strengthen its presence across the state.
