Kogi Accountant General Honoured as Accountant General of the Year
Hajiya Habiba Tijjani Onumoko, FCNA, Accountant General of Kogi State, has been recognised as “Accountant General of the Year” at the 16th Anniversary Ceremony of Democracy Newsline Newspaper.
The prestigious honour is a strong testament to her exceptional leadership, professionalism, accountability and unwavering commitment to public service.
As the first woman to serve as Accountant General of Kogi State, Hajiya Habiba has continued to demonstrate that competence, integrity and purposeful leadership can drive meaningful progress in public financial management. Her contributions have further strengthened the state’s commitment to transparency, accountability and responsible governance.
The award was received on her behalf by Hajiya Pharm. Ramat Molo Aliyu, Kogi State Project Coordinator for HOPE GOV, HOPE EDU and HOPE PHC, who led the delegation representing the Accountant General at the ceremony.
