Checkpoint—Mr. John Suleiman, Manager, The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC Plc) Okene, today,
told us that he didn’t
order customers to pay the sum of N1000 to replace
the damaged transformer at checkpoint precisely ESOMI 1 community.
Following allegations by customers of illegal collection the
sum of N1000 from each house was not from him or any officials of Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC Plc). He has advised customers to always direct their
complaints to the appropriate quarters rather than patronising touts.
According to him, the statement which he described as defamation.
We’ve enough material and we are working so hard to replace the damaged one,
give nobody money for anything. “Don’t give a cent to anybody in the name of
the transformer.
